Historic Walking Tour: Stories in Stone III-A Night at the Cemetery
As twilight settles over the grounds, participants will journey through one of the city’s most significant burial sites, where the lives of early African American leaders, educators, veterans, and community builders are remembered and honored. Through guided interpretation and historical storytelling, the stones come alive—revealing narratives of resilience, service, and legacy etched into Arkansas history.
This immersive experience invites guests to reflect on the individuals who shaped Little Rock’s Black community and whose contributions continue to echo today. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended for this outdoor evening program.
