The Imperial Oil refinery in Ogden operated from 1923 to 1976. The community of Lynnview Ridge was developed on the site after its closure and subsequently it was discovered that refinery operations had contaminated the soil. The City of Calgary took over the site and remediated the area which continues to be monitored as future options are considered. Join Laura Combden to experience the history of this industrial site, including its relationship with Deerfoot Trail and Ralph Klein.
