Professor Andrew Groves and Dr Sian Weston will be introducing an early-stage research project, Proving Ground, which looks at Millbank as a place where different forms of British authority have been staged over time, from Pr*son and military medicine to art school and fashion spectacle. This is an informal event with an opportunity for TTIS members to interact with Chelsea College of Arts experts on local histories, institutions, architecture and public image intersect across this part of Westminster.
