Himalayan Balsam removal

Roll up your sleeves and help us tackle the pesky Himalayan Balsam in person! This is a great chance to get outdoors, meet new people, and make a real difference in Rimrose Valley. No experience needed, just bring your enthusiasm and comfy clothes. Let’s work together to clear out this invasive plant and give native species a chance to thrive. See you there!

Please note that we are meeting at the entrance off Brook Vale, next to Brooklands Avenue - not the St Mary's Road entrance.

Please read the infirmation below to ensure you come prepared:

• Bring protective gloves
• Ensure that you arrive on time for an 2pm start
• The event end time is approximate - we may finish sooner
• Come suitably prepared for the weather on the day - you may need a drink, sunscreen... or waterproofs! We recommend sturdy footwear and long sleeves to protect your arms
• We have limited the amount of places you can reserve to 2. Please only book the number of places you need and if you are unable to attend, please cancel your booking so your place can be allocated to someone else
• If you are unable to register for this event, don't worry, there will be other opportunities in the future
