Mount Kenya Batian Climb is one for the books, come let’s go and experience the mountain differently. In addition to seeking to reach the summit we also commit to being aware of every moment on the way. It is called connection with self and nature. A beautiful journey up this snow-capped mountain of East Africa right at the Equator. Mount Kenya is one of the places every human should visit at least once in a lifetime. It offers a wholesome experience of fun, connection and self-discovery. Mount Kenya Batian Climb is probably Africa's most technical climb.Day 1: Nairobi Naromoru Gate – Met Station Camp
8.00am: Depart Nairobi for Nanyuki
12.00pm: Arrive at Naromoru Gate
3.00pm Drive up to Met Station Camp
6.00pm: Settle in Camp
Day 2: Met Station Camp- Mackinder's Camp
8.00 am; Depart Met Station for Mackinders Camp
1.00pm Arrive at Mackinders Camp
Restful afternoon and evening at Mackinders
Day 3: Mackinders Camp - Austrian Hut- Point Lenana
8.00am: Leave Mackinders for Austrian and Further up for acclimatisation to Point Lenana
11.00 am Arrive at Point Lenana and soon head back to Camp
Afternoon rest and spend the night at Mackinders Camp
Day 4 : Attempt Batian Peak
Attempt Nelion Batian Peaks
4.00am Depart Austrian Hut for the high Peaks
9.30am: Arrive Nalion
1.30pm: Arrive at Batian
2.00pm Start your descent
6.00 pm Back At Mackinders Hut
Day 5: Mackinders Camp- Met Station Camp to Nairobi
After breakfast, you will start your way down Met Station Camp where we finish your hike. Along the trail, just turn and look back to where you came from a clear line of the Mount Kenya Batian Climb from Teleki Valley. You are expected at the Met Station at 11.30am where we board our transfer vehicle to Nairobi
Of Note:
The climb is very dependent on the weather and we shall only leave Nairobi when we have about 90% chance of good weather for the climb.
The final call on the safety of the climb is on the climbing guide. A guide may call off the climb if the weather is not conducive

Emergency evacuations cover USD. 25 from Amref.
Reservations;
You will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit of KES. 30,000 or USD 500 per person by 31st January 2025
to cater for bookings for the climb via Mpesa Paybill 5211729 Account BATIAN (KES) or ask for bank details (USD) and the balance by 18th February 2025.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel more than 2 weeks before your scheduled trip departure, a 50% of the fee
will be charged.
If you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled trip departure, no refund fees will be
provided.
No shows are responsible for 100% of trip fees.
