Terrain: Paved + natural surfaces

Difficulty: Easy

Trail Length: 3 miles

This scenic stretch of the Neuse River Greenway features two standout landmarks:

🌉 Neuse River Suspension Bridge — a fun, slightly swaying pedestrian bridge with beautiful river views and a must-stop moment for photos

💦 Milburnie Dam — a historic dam offering calming water sounds, wide-open views, and a peaceful spot to pause, reflect, and connect

📸 Great photo opps throughout — especially on the bridge and near the dam, so bring your camera or a fully charged phone!

🛑 Kid-Free Zone—this one’s just for the grown folks!

🎯 Bring: Water bottle, sunscreen, optional hiking stick, light snacks, layered clothing, bug spray!
