Heartwood Collective is excited to announce its first public event- a benefit concert at Drip Sauna! We will gather as a community to chop wood, dance, and discuss the ways in which we can keep the precious resource of storm-fallen trees within the ecosystem of our community- serving as firewood and timber for projects and people that call these mountains home.
We have an incredible musical lineup, including Numatik, Hunter the Gatherer, and Cambo performing DJ sets on the legendary Star Tribe sound system.
Offerings Include:
-Chainsaw safety class by Skills Academy For Women
*Please note this is a limited class and you must arrive early at 1:30 to attend.
-Blade Craft by Lyca of Pisgah Yurt Craft: How to properly wield and care for a variety of bladed tools for wood processing.
-Poetry and more with Michael Numinous of Hawk and Hawthorne
-Regenerative forestry and community building with Rob Lenfestey and Eleanor Bramwell of Mandala Springs.
-Delicious Lebanese food by Habibi Village.
And of course saunas and cold plunges!

We are asking for a $15-30 donation which will support the startup costs of the non-profit and enable us lay the groundwork for gathering, processing, curing, and delivering firewood to communities and people in need.
