About this Event

About This Event

Instead of a standard rush of commercial gifts, this experience invites to awaken your senses amidst the autumn foliage of Girdled Road Reservation. Bring a friend, partner or just your big, beautiful heart. 💝

You will be guided through mindful pacing, sensory invitations, and a special interactive activity where participants work in pairs to collect fallen leaves, colorful acorns, and stones to co-create temporary heart-shaped mandalas on the forest floor. We will conclude our afternoon gathering with a warm, seasonal foraged herbal tea ceremony and sweet treats at the shelter.

Ticket & Donation Information

This event is offered by donation (pay-with-a-heart/pay-what-you-can). Nature and wellness should be accessible to all. Your generous contributions directly help cover the costs of the seasonal herbal tea, sweet treats, and future community gathearrings.

When checking out on Eventbrite, simply choose the "Donation" ticket tier and enter an amount that feels meaningful and sustainable to you. 🤗

Tentative Event Schedule

• 1:00 PM – Welcome circle, grounding intentions, and digital device silencing at Skok Meadow Shelter

• 1:20 PM – Slow sensory-awakening forest walk and guided relational invitations

• 2:30 PM – Cooperative nature mandala creation on the forest floor

• 2:45 PM – Warm foraged herbal tea ceremony, seasonal sweets, and closing reflections

• 3:15 PM – Event concludes

What to Bring

Dress in comfortable layers appropriate for late-autumn weather and walking on natural dirt paths. Bring a small water bottle, a blanket for the tea circle, and an open, curious mindset. All mandala materials will be sourced strictly from fallen and natural forest elements without harming living plants. Feel free to bring fallen items from your own yard or garden as an intentional gift to our Mother Earth.

Registration Information

Space is limited to ensure an intimate, quiet, and meaningful atmosphere in the woods. Advance registration via Eventbrite is required to secure your spot and ensure we brew enough tea. Parking is available on-site at the Skok Meadow entrance.
