Heartland Men's Chorus Kansas City is launching Season 41, and we're looking for new singers to join our chorus. Whether you've performed for years or your favorite venue is the shower, we'd love to meet you.
As one of the nation's leading LGBTQ+ choruses, HMCKC creates dynamic choral theater productions that inspire audiences and bring people together through the power of music. Join us as we begin our next chapter and continue singing for a world of love and acceptance.

What We're Looking For:
🎵 Ability to match pitch
🎵 Ability to sing harmony
🎵 Willingness to learn
🎵 The courage to show up
🎵 Readiness to embrace feedback to grow as a perfomer
***Choral experience a plus***
During your audition, we'll talk about your musical background, how you heard about HMCKC, and determine your vocal section: Tenor 1, Tenor 2, Baritone, or Bass.
You'll also be asked to sing a short excerpt of a song that showcases your voice. This can be something you've prepared before, performed in the past, or a simple song such as Somewhere Over the Rainbow or Amazing Grace. Please bring a copy of your music for our accompanist.
You do not need to read music to be a member of Heartland Men's Chorus Kansas City. We simply ask that you bring a willingness to learn, grow, and make music with us.
