Fair Housing and Maintenance Training

Our Fair Housing and Maintenance training course is designed to equip Tribal housing professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage affordable housing units, support the rights of tenants, and effectively maintain affordable housing units.
The course covers the fundamentals of the Fair Housing Act, protected classes, prohibited practices, reasonable accommodations and modifications, penalties for violations, and strategies for successful project implementation within Tribal communities.
It will also cover the fundamentals of housing maintenance, vacant-unit turns, inventory tracking, budgetary considerations, and strategies for successful implementation of preventive maintenance within Tribal communities.
