Healthwatch City of London AGM 2026
About this Event
This year’s AGM will be held on Friday 16th October. The theme is ‘Neighbourhood ways of working’, confirmed speakers so far are Laura Marmion, Head of Integrated Neighbourhood Teams, Neighbourhoods Programme, Homerton Healthcare NHS Trust and Elliott Hills, the new Neighbourhood Facilitator for the City of London. The NHS neighbourhood way of working is a community-focused model that unites general practice, local authorities, social care, and voluntary groups into Integrated Neighbourhood Teams. It shifts care delivery from hospitals to local communities, prioritises proactive prevention, and centres services around individual patient needs. This new way of working is one of the main focuses for the NHS.
There will also be stalls for you to visit from Age UK City of London, City Advice, Macmillan, Imago and Hackney CVS Neighbourhoods team and Family Action, with more to confirm.
Stalls will be open from 9.30am, with the meeting taking place from 10am – 12 at St Giles Church, Fore Street, Barbican. EC2Y 8DA.
