This study day is designed for Speech and Language Therapists who are new to Fibreoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) and Videofluoroscopic Swallowing Studies (VFSS), or who are progressing towards competency in these instrumental assessments.
Through a combination of lectures, video examples, interactive discussions and case-based learning, participants will gain a foundational understanding of the role of instrumental assessment within dysphagia management and develop confidence in clinical decision-making around indications for instrumental assessment.
Who should attend?
- Speech and Language Therapists working with adults who are new to FEES and/or VFSS.
- Newly qualified practitioners seeking an introduction to instrumental assessment.
