We're kicking off the 10th Annual Diversity in Medicine Conference with an evening dedicated to the research that drives our mission.
About this Event

This Health Equity Research Symposium is a poster presentation and awards event bringing together the next generation of researchers, clinicians, and public health professionals committed to eliminating health disparities.

Hosted by Patients R Waiting as part of the 10th Annual Diversity in Medicine Conference, the Symposium elevates and celebrates original scholarship from high school students, nursing students, medical students, residents, fellows, faculty, and community health workers.

Attendees will engage with original research across six categories:

1. Health Disparities & Social Determinants,
2. Pipeline & Workforce Diversity,
3. Structural Racism in Healthcare,
4. Community-Based Participatory Research,
5. Medical Education & Curriculum, and
6. Maternal Health Equity.
