About The Workshop:You are invited to attend to this workshop where you will experience the healing power of guided imagery and visualisation. This workshop will offer you the opportunity to experience and learn how to facilitate THREE different techniques of guided imagery and visualisation.
In therapy, we are often familiar with the idea of being guided by the therapist or facilitator through visualisation techniques. This workshop will be an opportunity to explore this popular guided imagery technique with a special personal powerful healing intention as you connect with your ancestors in a unique and meaningful way. This is an opportunity to also explore other methods of visualisation techniques where you will also be given the power to go to places you have never dreamt of.
This workshop will support participants in personal growth. It is open to professionals working in this field and serves as an enriching experience of professional development too. Participants do not need to have any experience in therapy or be a therapist to be part of this workshop. You will be guided every step of the way throughout the workshop and held in a safe way.
This workshop will:
- Offer Information about the Healing Power of Guided Imagery and Visualisation Techniques;
- Support you to equip yourself with the tools you need to explore and establish a sense of safety in a therapeutic space;
- Help you explore ways you can immerse yourself in a world of fantasy and imagination with a healing purpose;
- Experience and learn THREE different techniques of visualisation and guided imagery;
- Support you to identify a source of healing that makes sense to you in a unique way, on a personal level;
- Offer the possibility to work individually with the workshop facilitator with your personal material;
- Offer the opportunity to all participants to facilitate one of these therapeutic visualisation techniques;
- Offer the opportunity to enhance the healing power of these visualisation techniques through Art and Drama Therapy;
- Give you the space to discuss and share any questions about the content of the workshop in relation to your personal experiences or therapeutic practice;
- Be an opportunity to explore healing and transformation.
