This event is an invitation into experiencing a Chinese tradition Tea Ceremony. The ritual itself is conducted in a way that engages all the senses; through the smell of the tea and incense, the sounds of the water and the earthy tastes of the tea itself.
The most important part though is the meditative aspect. We use incredible organic living tea which is specifically cultivated and processed for use in meditation to easily carry you into a relaxed and aware state. If you are new to meditation, it is an amazing bridge into experiencing the peace and happiness of meditation, and if you have some experience in meditation, you will be pleasantly surprised at the depth of the tea ceremony experience.

Yasmin is the founder of Sanya, and has extensive experience of using many different techniques that promote wellbeing. Her background is as a yoga and meditation teacher with over 10 years of training, but over the past few years she has cultivated a deep love for tea ceremony. She has incorporated tea ceremony into her daily spiritual practice alongside meditation, and loves to share the practice with others as she feels it is a special tool which can really support our inner journey.

Workshop & Event Cancellation Policy:
When signing up to any event or workshop, full payment is required upfront. If you need to cancel for any reason, we require at least 4 days advance notice. When cancelling at least 4 days prior to the event, the full amount will be credited to your account at Sanya (must be used within 3 months). This credit can be used towards any yoga class, service or workshop offered. If you cancel less than 4 days prior to the event, you will be charged the full amount and you will not be entitled to a refund or credit note.
