Healing Gong & Sound Bath Concert - Sound Portal Journey with Mark Hartman

Sound and vibration have been found to revitalize the body and mind, release stagnant energy and traumas, repair and balance the nervous system, empty the subconscious mind and clear energy blocks or mind loops known as samskara’s.

The theme of the workshop is energy cleanse, clearing the aura through sound, harmonic resonance and vibration to restore you to a balanced and natural state and is intended to heal on physical, emotional and spiritual levels. This is done through healing Sound, Intention, Energy Healing, Reiki energy and Meditation processes.

The primary instruments used will be the gong, chimes, singing bowls and flute.

Please bring whatever you need to be cozy and comfortable on your sound journey. A pillow, blanket, plush yoga mat and eye mask are recommended. We have additional props such as blankets and bolsters for you to use.

Facilitator Bio:

Mark Hartman is a photographer, artist, yoga and meditation instructor, intuitive healer and sound healing practitioner. He was first introduced to yoga in high school and later became a certified Kundalini teacher in 2005. Since then he has taught for over 20 years mostly in the NYC area at various studios and Rikers Island Pr*son. He has led Kundalini Yoga & Meditation and Sound classes in Encinitas, California for the past 4 years at Soul of Yoga.

As a teacher, Mark is a devoted student first. Over many years, he studied in depth with various teachers, learning sound meditation and other wisdom from a Nihang Sikh Saint in Northern India, energy healing techniques from Indigenous Mexican Elders, studying Kundalini yoga and assisting yoga trainings with master-level teachers; and studying and practicing Reiki, achieving a master-level certification. He loves to share his passion for the Kundalini teachings, healing and his experience through teaching.

His classes are focused on the energetics of yoga, breath work, sound and chanting. He is known for his gong playing, sound healing and meditative classes. Mark encourages his students to take a deep dive into themselves and believes the one you seek is yourself.
