Harrogate College October Open Event

Open the door to tomorrow, today.

Discover nurturing education from 16-18 full time courses, apprenticeships and T levels to our adult provision for learners who want to upskill, reskill or learn for leisure.

This event is your opportunity to discover more about our dedicated campus and experience our supportive environment for yourself. You can also expect to:

• Hear teachers share their passion for their chosen subjects
• Take a tour of our first-class facilities - from the modern Craft Bistro and training kitchens to the innovative Technology Centre
• Learn about our various course options

Our dedicated team will also be available to provide lots of information and guidance on finance, careers and life in Harrogate. You can even apply on the day too!

Travel to the College and Parking

We would like to inform you about important travel and parking arrangements due to ongoing construction at Harrogate College.

Parking Restrictions: Our on-site car park will be unavailable except for Blue Badge holders. We kindly ask visitors to use public transport where possible.

Public Transport Options: The campus is easily accessible via public transport:

• A two-minute walk from Hornbeam Park train station
  
• A 20-minute walk from Harrogate town centre
  
• Several local bus services, including the 36 on Leeds Road, stop nearby
  

Driving and Parking:If you need to drive, please consider car sharing and use designated on-street parking outside a 5-minute radius of the college, such as Stray Rein or the West Park multi-storey car park. Please note parking at Hornbeam Business Park is not permitted.

Shuttle Bus Parking at St Aidan’s

For those travelling to the college by car, we have been kindly granted access to a limited number of parking spaces at St Aidan’s Church of England High School.

A shuttle bus will be running every 15 minutes between St Aidan’s and Harrogate College throughout the event.

Please note that there may be other vehicles in the car park due to St Aidan’s extracurricular activities, external bookings, and staff use — so we ask that you park considerately.

A member of Harrogate College staff will be on site to assist attendees with the shuttle service to and from the college.

Kindly note that vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk.
