Halloween Costume Showcase and Mini-Parade!
About this Event
It's that spooky time of year again! Dust off your hot glue guns and sewing machines.
Costume Showcase and Mini-Parade around Washington Park!
- We'll devide into themed categories and everyone will have a moment to strut their stuff and show off their look for the crowd! Plus a photo opportunity in front of Old Stone House.
- Everyone who participates gets a ribbon. Plus lots of compliments and recognition on their outfit!
- After the showcase, we'll parade up 3rd street and through the playground!
- Please note: The parade and festivities are expected to be over as early as 1:45. Get to the House before the parade passes by!

All categories are strongly encouraged to DIY and use thrifted and recycled-materials! Big Reuse (by Lowe's in Gowanus) has lots of great clothes that can be repurposed for costumes.
Please note: This is not a formal contest - no placing, awards, or tiers. Just a joyful display of all things spooky!
