Guided River Paddle: Bottcher's Landing to Fitch's Bridge Boat Launch

Join expert paddler Jim Pfiffer and our Volunteer River Guides for a guided educational paddle of the Chemung River. As we paddle from Bottcher's Landing Boat Launch to Fitch's Bridge Boat Launch, our educational component will be: TBD.

Please dress for the weather and wear water shoes, a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a life jacket if you have one. LIFE JACKETS ARE REQUIRED. We will have life jackets available if you don't have one. A water bottle and snacks are also recommended.

The FCRW Kayak Rental price includes the guided river tour and a kayak rental (if you need one, we have a very limited number of kayaks available). We will meet at Fitch's Bridge Boat Launch at 9AM . Paddlers will leave their vehicles at Fitch's Bridge, FCRW will shuttle paddlers to Bottcher's Landing for a safety talk and then launch our watercraft by 10:30AM.

The BYOK (Bring your own kayak) price includes the guided river tour. Paddlers bringing their own craft will drop them off at the start of the paddle between 8-8:45AM at Bottcher's Landing Boat Launch where an FCRW Staff will watch over them, then travel to Fitch's Bridge to meet Jim and the rest of the paddlers at 9AM. Paddlers will leave their vehicles at Fitch's Bridge, FCRW will shuttle paddlers back to Bottcher's Landing for a safety talk and then launch our watercraft by 10:30AM.
