About this Event
🌿 Grounded Flow: Ashtanga • Meditation • Pranayama
September Theme: Curiosity
with Laura Gonzalez
📅 Sunday 20 September 2026
🕙 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
📍 Koko Studio, Glasgow
A grounding Sunday morning workshop exploring the theme of curiosity through movement, breath and awareness.
Rather than approaching yoga with a fixed idea of what a posture should look like or what we should be able to do, this practice invites us to become more interested in what is actually happening in the body.
What do I notice?
What changes when I breathe differently?
Can I explore without needing to get somewhere?
Laura’s workshops encourage students to move beyond simply achieving shapes, using the practice as a space to observe, question and explore.
Through Ashtanga-inspired movement, pranayama and meditation, we’ll practise meeting familiar movements with fresh attention — noticing sensation, breath, habits and the way we respond when something feels challenging or unfamiliar.
This session may include:
• Ashtanga-inspired flow sequences
• detailed exploration of familiar postures and transitions
• mindful movement and body awareness
• pranayama and breath awareness
• meditation and reflection
• space to explore movement with curiosity rather than judgement
A morning to move, breathe, pay attention and perhaps discover something new in a practice you thought you already knew.
✨ Less judgement. More curiosity.
