About this Event

Event Description:

You are invited to join us on August 12th at 6pm for truly unique experience that incorporates a love of art, nature, and learning!

Meeting Location: Strathcona Park

Time: 6-8 PM

This walk invites participants to step away from screens, slow down, and reconnect with the natural world. Through mindful observation and reflection, we will explore our relationship with the elements of nature and the non-human animals who share our environment. The walk offers a space to pause, reflect, and cultivate a deeper sense of connection, presence, and care for the world around us.

Following the walk, we will explore the space around us through mark making, using stones, sticks, flowers and soil as starting points for a piece of mindful art. No experience is needed - this session emphasizes process over product, encouraging curiosity about how we can engage with nature as a creative collaborator.
