Groovanometry 10th Year Anniversary!!!
We are proud to present to you 10 years of Groovanometry. A independent cultural Hiphop event that has connect the worldwide Breaking, Popping and Hiphop community together for many years and we are BACK for yet another wholesome weekend in Manchester.
For those who are new to Groovanometry, welcome and for those who have supported this event before, WE ARE GONNA MAKE YOU SMILE EVEN MORE for upcoming edition.
Groovanometry's mission is to facilitate and unify everyone through HIPHOP CULTURE, we stand to make this a positive movement through what we do. For 2025 we are bringing back international guest DJ’s and dancers from around the world. Be sure not to miss this one, slight change in our concept to freshen up Groovanometry and more of a incentive for our loyal supporters.
As usual we are continuing to do Groovanometry as 3 day jam to give you all a weekend of experiences!
We believe in creating an experience where those who attend have the full experience of the hiphop culture meaning there will be more opportunity to hang out with us, our international guests, party together, share conversation, share knowledge and simply experience MANCHESTER!
By having a 3 day jam, it has given us the opportunity to really delivery the hiphop experience over the weekend.
*** UPDATE on Groovanometry concept ***
Traditionally, Groovanometry has invited international guests from all around the globe to celebrate with us, cyphering and joining in our infamous Breaking 8vs8 exhibition battle and the Hiphop/Popping 8vs8 exhibition battle. The jam was NEVER about competition or winning, it was purely about highlighting the talents from around the world and representing. However, as times have changed, Groovanometry believes in adapting to the time so
for the 10th year anniversary, we no longer have any invited guest artists to dance in the exhibition battle BUT instead we are going to have a CASH PRIZE pool for side who wins the 8 vs 8 highlighted battle at the end. We STILL believe it is not about winning but would like give back to our loyal supporters in some way by putting up some cash prize for the winners.
It will be judged by our guest judges.
What stays to same and changes before the exhibition battle?
- Cypher qualification- then to 1vs1 knock out.
- TOP 64 (Breaking) knock outs down to TOP 16- qualify for exhibition battle.
- TOP 32 (Popping) knock outs down to TOP 8- qualify for exhibition battle.
- TOP 32 (Hihhop) knock outs down to TOP 8- qualify for exhibition battle.
Total cash prize pool: £3200!!!

Winner of the 8vs8 Hiphop/ Popping exhibition battle: £1600
