The most frustrating part of putting together a successful home landscape is finding plants that work in the most difficult locations in your yard. Native plants are the answer for those difficult spots. Whether it is beating hot sun, dry shade, wet areas or poor soil quality, native plants have evolved over the years to take on and thrive in these locations and are the answer to less frustration and more success for you!
Tim Kane, Brand Ambassador for American Beauties Native Plants, American's first native plant brand, will outline great native plants for the worst spots in your landscape and give you the low down on how these plants will not only thrive but also support native insects, birds and butterflies. Get ready for your landscape to come alive once you learn about these awesome American Beauties Native Plants!
Tim Kane, Brand Ambassador for American Beauties Native Plants, has a degree in Horticulture from the University of Connecticut and 40+ years of experience working with plants. Tim managed a garden center for 17 years and then served 26 years as Sales, Marketing and Inventory Manager for Prides Corner Farms, a large, Connecticut based grower and one of the owners and growers of American Beauties Native Plants. Now as American Beauties Brand Manager, Tim is helping spread the word about the importance, excitement and success that native plants bring to the home landscape.
Participants in this workshop will receive 20% on any plants they purchase the day of the class.
