My garden doesn’t look happy! It’s so simple but happy plants begin with soil brimming with microorganisms and nutrients. Proper nutrients support plant growth and development. Scott Freedman will start you on the path to diagnosing nutrient deficiencies. Learn simple ways to create living soil that will bring beauty to your garden for many growing seasons. Receive a soil kit along with instruction on how to submit soil samples and understand their results. Depending on the results you can select the proper amendments like the professionals. Now you are ready to select the right plants for our location.
Scott has a BS in Urban Forestry from The Pennsylvania State University. His work experience includes working in the tree care industry as an ISA Certified Arborist, construction administrator with a natural resources preservation company, manager of a commercial landscape maintenance company, and most recently as the grounds and plant health care specialist at Mt Cuba Center.
Participants receive 20% on any plants purchased the day of the class
