GothBats Presents: Chroma - A Celebration of Gothic Fashion

GothBats Nashville is pleased to announce that we will be holding our 2nd annual Goth & Alternative Fashion Show “Chroma: A Celebration of Gothic Fashion” on Saturday, November 2nd at 5 PM at Canvas Lounge.

• Are you curious about those goths that may not be defined by a category?
  

This November, the GothBats will present to you the chromatic, colorful, and wild variety of GOTHIC SUBCULTURES! You will see a showcase of new and unique goth fashions modeled by community members of all sizes, shapes, colors, identities, abilities, and ages (21+)! This event aims to celebrate the individuals in our community and how they distinctively showcase goth fashion.

Our show will be emceed by Casanova, who will perform an opening and closing act for your pleasure. Proceeds from ticket sales and cash tips for Casanova will be donated to the two charities we have selected to be the benefactors of our show, the Nashville City Cemetery Association and Bridges Domestic Violence Center.

During Act 1 of our show, you will see how the goths of Nashville uniquely represent goth as they showcase their own style on the runway. During Act 2 of our show, you will see handmade looks created by local designers, who strive to push the boundaries of gothic fashion. The finale will consist of a showcase of eclectic looks by local designer Pretty Grungy, aka our admin Kat Gaume. An afterparty will be hosted after the show by our very own admin Laura Collins, who will be playing a set of goth-industrial music until 9 PM.

Doors open at 4 PM and the show will start at 5 PM. Tickets will be $12 ADV and $15 DOS. A fashion show ticket purchase comes with free admission to our afterparty; there will be a $5 admission to our afterparty after the show ends. The show is sponsored by The Lash Melody, who will be providing custom lash strips to pair with our models' distinct looks.
