Golden Hour Yoga & Hike in Balboa Park

Join us for a midweek reset in Balboa Park with a gentle outdoor yoga class followed by an optional guided hike through Cabrillo Canyon. This all-levels experience is designed to help you slow down, move with intention, and reconnect—with yourself, the natural world, and others in the community. We’ll begin with a 45-minute slow flow practice on the lawn, then continue with a relaxed hike through one of the park’s hidden gems.

Slow Flow Yoga

A gentle, all-levels practice guided by Michelle (RYT 200), linking movement with breath at a relaxed pace.

Hike

~1.3 mile optional hike with a few hills (~200 ft elevation gain). Terrain includes dirt, gravel, pavement, and stairs.

Timing

Arrive around 6pm to park and check in

Yoga: 6:15–7:00 pm

Optional hike: ~30 minutes following class

What to Bring

Yoga mat or towel, water, and comfortable walking shoes.

Location

Northwest corner of Balboa Park (Hillcrest side), near 7th & Upas. We’ll be set up on the lawn east of Balboa Drive.

Parking

Metered parking ($2.50/hr) is enforced until 6 pm on Balboa Drive and until 8 pm on 6th Ave. Public transit is also available.
