Origins of the Sisterhood of the Rose trace back to ancient Egypt's Priestess Isis. These ancient mystic teachings share a common thread with the Gnostics, Essenes, Cathars, and the Order of Magdalene. All having connections to secret teachings about energy, soul awakening, and physical ascension.
Symbolism of the Rose has long been used within these lineages as a representation of spiritual awakening. The Rose is a metaphor for the soul’s journey toward enlightenment, with its petals symbolizing growth as it opens and its thorns reflecting the challenges encountered along the way.
The Sisterhood of the Rose is a global commitment to leading with the wisdom of the Divine Feminine. By emphasizing nurturing, intuition, and creativity, it seeks to restore balance in a patriarchal world and empower feminine spirituality. We can embody these principles in our daily lives through acts of kindness, compassion, and self-care.
This event will honor the Ancient Feminine Mystery Schools and the teachings of Mary Magdalene, whose legends emphasize divine partnership, the safety within sisterhood, and inner spiritual authority.
The Sisterhood of the Rose is a lineage of Mystic Priestesses who dedicated their lives to serving humanity and spreading light consciousness throughout the world. Rooted in ancient traditions and embodied devotion, this path celebrates the exquisite beauty on earth. Students of this lineage commit to recognizing and cultivating beauty in every aspect of their lives.
The Rose symbolizes the heart and serves as a sacred geometry as a blueprint for humanity’s awakening. As we embody the heart and transcend duality we emit a frequency that impacts others to do the same.
Join us in this fun-filled transformational day retreat with 4 workshops that are focused on grounding into the body, deepening into the heart and connecting with community in a magical way.

11:15 to 12:15 - “Sisterhood as Medicine” with Jen Hoeprich
Sisterhood as Medicine is a sacred circle where we honor one another as the priestesses of our own lives and experience the power of sisterhood to heal body, mind, heart, and spirit. Through the high-vibration essence of rose petals—fragrant, soft, and sacred—we’ll awaken our senses and perhaps… even memories encoded in our DNA. You’ll be guided in a deeply relaxing nervous system regulating practice, experiencing the divine beauty of offering and receiving a rose petal goddess bath. As we care for one another, we remember the ancient truth: it is healing to be held by other women, and healing to hold other women, too. Step into your priestess self, soften into presence, and receive the medicine of sisterhood.

12:45 to 1:45 - “The Magdalene Frequency - Divine Masculine & Feminine Embodied” with Ash Odisho and Aubrey Shoham
By exploring the teachings of Mary Magdalene and the archetypal frequencies she embodied, we can gain valuable insights into our own journeys. She represents a powerful woman who may have frightened others with her strength and wisdom, particularly given the societal norms of her time. As an impactful teacher and energy healer, her power was equal to that of her masculine counterpart, Jesus. Though she did not receive the historical credit she deserved, many seekers of wisdom recognize these qualities shining through ancient stories.
The Magdalene Template can serve as a map for understanding our own Divine Selves. As we reflect on her life and teachings, she becomes a mirror, guiding us on our Grail Quest for the liberation of the heart. During this one-hour group session, we will experience the Magdalene Frequency through her stories and how relevant her values are today. Then we'll learn and experience Aramaic chants that activate the heart.
More about Ash -
My name is Ashourina Odisho, Ashourina is an Assyrian name from Ancient Mesopotamia. Ashourina is the feminized version of King Ashur from Babylon. Born and raised in Chicago, IL, I had the privilege to grow up around a melting pot of different cultures and religions. Learning about different cultures is one of my passions. I am fluent in English and Aramaic. I literally led a life between two cultures and always felt I was not too Assyrian or too American. It was when I discovered yoga through one of my acting teachers that I found my inner power, weakness, strength, confidence and forgiveness. Throughout my journey as a “Christian Woman” in my culture, I realized that women or girls did not get away with anything. The boys or men can do whatever they want and it was ok. But, as a girl or woman, we were judged, shunned by our own mothers and family. The divine feminine in me, at that time known as being rebellious did not understand why this was so. All I knew was if you were expecting and having a baby boy that was a blessing and if you were expecting a baby girl, it was a curse and that is what the “mother” can only create in her womb, girls. When I learned that men were the ones with the chromosomes that either can breed a female or male, I was enraged. I could not believe that women were to be blamed for something out of their control. With all this knowledge I knew in my heart that there was something very wrong with my ethnicity and lineage from the Middle East and as a whole throughout the world. I did not know where I was receiving that knowledge from but I knew it was wrong and that we as women were being controlled and indoctrinated. Imagine a mother saying “oh God I am having another girl” or “I am having a girl?!!!”. I remember thinking to myself at a young age, “How can you be a woman and hate having a girl?” “You must hate yourself”. My maternal grandmother Yolanda was a loving, amazing strong woman. She loved all the freedom America had to offer to women. She also shared with me that she was disappointed that her first grandchild was a girl, me. She even shared that I was so little and not so “pretty” when they first brought me home. She recalled after 40 days I looked beautiful and I was glowing. And then admitted that it was so stupid to think like that. She could not believe how brainwashed they were about having daughters. Fear and indoctrination did not yet lead me to an open mind to research and learn why this instilled in us until I had enough and started to dive deep into other schools of thought, theories and gnosis. Once I opened my mind and noticed a divide between women, I started listening to my intuition and inner voice. No longer crippled by fear of what I was told to think, I started to research, learn and mostly listen and take in other divine interventions coming to me. Removing the veil of illusion, I began to listen to “The Magdalene Frequency”.

2:00 to 3:00 - ”Heaven Meets Earth: Drum, Dance, and Sing with Goddess Inanna“ with Katie Seiferth
This embodied song circle invites us to create unified musical vibrations as we journey into the fullness of who we are—honoring both our light and our shadow to emerge whole and empowered. Through drumming, singing, and movement, we’ll give voice to the many layers of our being, embracing the sacredness of both our human and spiritual selves. We’ll explore Inanna’s story and symbolic rose—its thorn and its bloom—welcoming every part of our unfolding and celebrating the beauty of wholeness together in sisterhood.
More about Katie -
I discovered a deep connection to the piano and singing as a young child and have been devoted to music ever since. I grew up singing in choirs and bands, eventually earning a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. Alongside music, I have a passion for facilitating growth and personal transformation, which led me to earn a Master’s degree in Adult Education and Training, as well as a certification in Transformational Life Coaching. These two passions—music and transformation—have come together in my work as a Music Director for Unity of Mesa, Valley Unitarian Universalist Congregation, and as a featured guest performer in spiritual communities across the Valley for over a decade. In this role, I’ve led congregational singing, bands, choirs, ensembles, drum circles and conflict resolution retreats. Together with my husband Andrew, I co-create original music in our band, The SoapSellers. We’ve performed at weddings and venues throughout Arizona, and we have an upcoming concert and art show that blends Andrew’s visual art with our music, centered around sacred geometry, the study of energy, and the human experience. I’m currently developing Be. Hear. a collective of offerings that include coaching, musical events/concerts, art shows, and song circles that support us through the current astrological transitions and cultural events. I am available to hire to offer music and coaching for events, retreats, and special occasions. Connect directly to learn more - [email protected] .
