Global Running Day + Run For Our Heroes: Fundraiser & 5k

Get ready to lace up and hit the pavement for an awesome cause! This in-person event combines the excitement of Global Running Day with a special 5k fundraiser to support our heroes. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking for some fun, come out and make a difference with every step. Let’s run, sweat, and celebrate together!

Date: Wednesday, June 3, 2026 (Global Running Day)
Time: 5:00 - 7:30 p.m.
Location: Over the Horizon Brewing (Downtown Charleston, SC)

• 5k run / jog / walk starting around 5:30
• Delicious food and drinks from Over the Horizon
• A chance to win raffle prizes from Allegiance Flag Supply, Halo Headbands, Duck Donuts, South Carolina Stingrays, Over the Horizon, Brewery Running Series, and more!
• Supporting an amazing organization with your donations, raffle ticket purchases, and t-shirt sales.

• Give $30 or more, and receive this awesome Run for our Heroes t-shirt (below)
• Give $50 or more, and receive a Run for our Heroes t-shirt + Halo Headband (while supplies last)
• Purchase raffle tickets for $5 each for a chance to win awesome prizes (You do not need to be present to win!)

Run for Our Heroes is a nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring the more than 445 fallen service members from South Carolina and supporting the families who carry their legacy forward. Born from deep personal loss and a commitment to remembrance, our mission is simple yet profound: no service member’s sacrifice will ever be forgotten, and no family will ever walk their journey of grief alone. We understand the overwhelming fog that follows traumatic loss — the confusion, the isolation, and the struggle to navigate even the smallest tasks. That is why we stand beside families with compassion, clarity, and community, offering support that honors both their hero and their healing. At Run for Our Heroes, love, remembrance, and unity guide every step we take.
