Welcome to our sacred Drum birthing pilgrimage. This is our 5th year of journeying the land of Avalon and birthing drums holding the energy of the Goddess.

These drums will be birthed in the beautiful energy of Glastonbury Tor, Chalice Well, The White Spring, The Goddess Temple and of course, with The Lady of Avalon.

These will be higher heart drums, drums of unconditional love.

This is a 2 night retreat, single occupancy accommodation and breakfast is included.

We arrive in Glastonbury for 1030am on Friday 12th June and convene at the Avalon room, near the Goddess Temple. Here we will open sacred space and bless our weekend, setting the intention to birth our Higher Heart Avalon Drums!

We will hold a sharing circle and connect with the hides, choosing which is calling us.

We then travel to the White Spring, where we will hold ceremony, soak our hides inviting the Lady of Avalon and the energy of the Spring and ley lines that run through them to infuse them. You have the option to bathe in the waters and we will sing and drum.

We can go for dinner together nearby (at your own cost) that evening

On Saturday we gather at the Avalon room again and open our day. Here we will spend time in creation, cutting the hide and the lacing and bringing the pieces of our drums together including a crystal in the beautiful purple of the Lady of Avalon. Our drums will hold the energy of Goddess and as such the handles will be crafted into her form.

Once birthed, we will take our drums to the Goddess Temple. Here we will take part in an embodiment of the Goddess. Each participant having their own time to receive her blessing and for her to transmute that which no longer serves.

On Sunday we will gather with our newly birthed drums at the Tor, we will drum (with Melonie’s drums as yours will not yet be dry) and present our drums to the directions, inviting the Goddess in the land to walk with us and our drums. We will mindfully walk down to Chalice Well and present our drums to the Well itself. We will bless them with the flowers and trees and Lady of the Well and gather to close our circle, our weekend, each of us now carrying a Higher Heart Avalon Drum!

What is included:

Accommodation for 2 nights in 2 shared houses, breakfast pack for each house, Private session in the Goddess Temple, private session in the White Spring, entry to Chalice Well, Drum making venue and all drum making equipment and guidance, teas, coffees, chocolate in abundance!

All drum making materials - including crystals and ribbons

What is not included:

Travel is not included. Evening meals are not included.

Please bring a dish for our shared lunch on Friday and Saturday which we can leave in our working space kitchen.

There are 4 spaces in Melonie's car for lifts around Glastonbury and as we book in there may be other spaces for car sharing. The accommodation is 15 mins drive away from Glastonbury Centre.

Please note that deposits are non refundable after January 1st 2026 and after May 1st there will be no refunds as materials, venues and accommodation will have been paid for. If there is a wait list and we can pass your booking onto someone else you will receive a full refund (minus the deposit) after the payment of the other person has been received.

All accommodation is single occupancy.
