We are proud to present Girls STEM Up 2026: The Future in Focus, the eighth event in an annual series of conferences dedicated to increasing engagement and respect for women in STEM fields. Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics are disciplines that are fueled by exploration and ambition.

Girls STEM Up: The Future in Focus, will bring high school, undergraduate students, and allies, together, across Atlantic Canada, to engage in conversation and share diverse views on leadership and female empowerment within STEM.

We look forward to making a meaningful difference and invite all who share our goals to join us as we embark upon this exciting endeavor.
Require Financial Assistance?
If you would love to attend the GSU 2026 Annual Conference but the ticket cost is a barrier, we want to support you! This form is designed to assess financial need and prioritize students who could benefit from leftover funding for ticket reimbursement.

Please note the following:

• Filling out this form does not guarantee reimbursement.
• Students will need to purchase their own ticket upfront. If funds remain after the conference, students with demonstrated financial need may receive reimbursement.

Bursary Application:

Three bursaries will be awarded to exemplary delegates at the closing ceremony of the GSU 2026: The Future in Focus conference. We are looking for applicants who are passionate about STEM, dedicated to uplifting women and working towards a brighter future for all underrepresented voices. We are also looking for research poster submissions to be showcased at our Girls STEM Up 2026 conference!
