About this Event
in this untraditioanal life drawing session, we will bring together music and art by capturing the performance. movement, cables, sound, we will listen and engage with the gig in different ways to capture the performance.
performing for us will be Cardiff-based indie alt-pop/rock band formed by singer-songwriter Tom 'Pilks' Pilkington
together with his Pyjama Party they are a dynamic, funky 7-piece ensemble designed to blend melancholic lyrics with upbeat music
some drawing materials provided, but please bring your prefered materials!
all skill levels welcome

What happens when you draw at a gig?
Instead of simply watching, you begin to really look. You notice the shape of a hand, the rhythm of a gesture, the way light falls across a face, the space between musicians, the atmosphere in the room. Drawing slows you down and deepens your attention. Like life drawing, it's less about making a perfect picture and more about practising presence.
