GIEI: Capture the Flavor: Herbs and Spices
Join Carroll County Master Gardeners as we host Terry Serio, Carroll County Principal Agent Associate of Family and Consumer Sciences, for a presentation on using herbs and spices to enhance the flavor of foods and beverages. This presentation will include information on the history, usage, storage, food safety, and health benefits of using these plant-based substances in the foods and beverages we consume. Participants will receive a handbook and may receive some tastings or herbs/spices to take home.
Class is indoors.
Please bring a pen and paper for note taking.
Class is free and appropriate for children over 12yrs. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
