Ghosts and Glamour French Macaron Class
Ready to finally master French macarons... with a hauntingly elegant twist?
In this hands-on beginner class, you'll learn the foundations of French macarons while creating a beautiful Halloween-inspired collection featuring soft pinks, classic black, delicate lace details, elegant pearls, and vintage spooky charm.
This class is built around understanding the process, not just following steps, so you can confidently recreate French macarons long after class is over.
Whether you're brand new to macarons or have struggled with them in the past, you'll leave with the knowledge, confidence, and beautifully decorated Halloween macarons to show off your new skills.
What You'll Learn
How to properly mix macaron batter and recognize the correct consistency
How to pipe smooth, uniform shells in a classic round shape
The science behind macarons:
What causes hollow shells

Infusing flavor into shells
Creating and pairing different fillings
How to store macarons correctly, especially if you're making them in advance
Troubleshooting common issues so you can recreate them successfully at home
Important Class Note
Due to time constraints and our current classroom setup, students will not bake the shells they pipe during class.
Macarons require time to rest, bake, and cool properly, and instead of rushing that process, we're doing this the right way so you actually learn.
During class you will:
Pipe your own macaron shells and work hands-on with the batter so you fully understand the process.
Receive pre-baked shells to:
Fill with a smooth white buttercream
Decorate using elegant vintage Halloween decorating techniques
Assemble and package your finished macarons
What You'll Take Home
One dozen (12) fully assembled and decorated French macarons
The confidence to start practicing at home
A solid understanding of what actually makes macarons work
This class is perfect for beginners or anyone who has struggled with macarons in the past and wants to finally understand how to get them right.
