Get to Grips with Canva Workshop

You don't need to be a designer to make things that look designed. Canva puts professional-quality templates, fonts, colours, and images at your fingertips - and this workshop shows you how to use them with confidence. Starting from scratch, you'll create a poster, a social media graphic, and a simple invitation, learning how to customise layouts, swap in your own images, and make design choices that actually work.

By the end of the session you'll have a Canva account set up, a handful of finished pieces you've made yourself, and enough know-how to keep going independently. Gentle, fun, and genuinely useful — whether you're promoting a community event, running a small business, or just want to make things that look good. No design experience needed, just a laptop and something you'd like to make.
