In September 2016, a group of local people got together to launch the Get Glasgow Moving public transport campaign, which has since grown to become one of the most well-known and well-respected passenger groups in Scotland.
Join us to celebrate Get Glasgow Moving’s first decade, as we reflect on the big wins, and some set-backs, which have got us to where we are today – on the cusp of finally seeing a world-class, fully-integrated public transport system rolled-out across our region through SPT’s plans to deliver bus franchising and Clyde Metro.
The opening event will feature a discussion with key activists involved in the campaign’s launch, and who have volunteered their time in fight for better public transport over the last ten years.
Presented as part of the Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival 2026.
