About Your Teacher:
Kathryn Rieck / RYT-200
Kathryn first came to yoga in her 20s and quickly felt a deep connection to both the movement and the philosophy, especially the wisdom of the seven limbs. An avid traveler, she has been fortunate to practice in studios around the world, shaping a well-rounded and thoughtful approach to her teaching.
In 2021, Kathryn was diagnosed with breast cancer. During her treatment, she chose to begin a 200-hour teacher training the following year unsure of what her body would be capable of, but drawn to yoga as a source of comfort and support. The practice became a steady presence during her healing, offering both strength and solace along the way.
Kathryn continues to see herself first and foremost as a student of yoga. She is currently enrolled in a 300-hour teacher training program at Lotus Pond Center for Yoga and Health, and brings a grounded, compassionate, and real-life perspective to every class she teaches.
