Gentle Yoga: A Mindful Pause for the Colder Days
About this Event
All levels are welcome! Mats and blocks are available.
Restorative Yoga-inspired gentle flow class.
Through gentle, accessible movement, mindful breathing, and guided moments of reflection, participants are invited to strengthen the connection between mind and body, release physical tension, and cultivate a sense of grounding and presence.
With an emphasis on self-compassion, mindfulness, and moving without pressure or expectations, the practice encourages participants to honour how they feel, tune into their bodies, and make space for rest. The class provides an opportunity to pause from the busyness of everyday life, manage stress, and nurture emotional well-being during a season when lower energy and changes in mood can feel more pronounced. Participants will leave with simple breathing and mindfulness techniques they can incorporate into their daily routines to support relaxation, resilience, and a greater sense of balance throughout the fall and winter months.
Led by a registered 200-hour yoga teacher with a background in psychology, the class brings together trauma-informed mindful movement, breathwork, and an understanding of the connection between mental and physical well-being.
