Ready to dive deep into the power of your breath and then facilitate it for others? Join us in this in-depth training starting fall 2026.
About this Event

This trauma-informed facilitator training is designed to help you facilitate conscious connected breathwork through a lens of nervous system regulation, person-centered attunement and earth medicine ways.

If you are interested in deepening your personal experience with conscious connected breathwork and also want to learn how to facilitate it for others, consider joining us this fall. If you are already in a helping profession, you may resonate with what is offered here. Inspiritu breathwork is a gentle approach to breathwork that can help clients regulate their nervous systems, process emotions, build resilience and capacity, and feel more connected to themselves.

This is much more than a training that teaches you how to facilitate breathwork; it is also an opportunity for a transformative personal journey shared within and held by community over an extended period of time. Here, you will be invited into authentic connection with yourself and with others. You will be supported so that you can drop in deeper into your personal process which may then allow you to hold a deeper, calmer, and more clear space for others.

And of course - you will gain the necessary knowledge and techniques that comprise an in-depth, trauma-informed and well-rounded foundation for skillfully facilitating breathwork with presence and care. This training will enable you to facilitate conscious connected breathwork for individuals, small groups and virtually.

Program Structure

This program is intended to be not only a vehicle for learning but also for personal growth and inner transformation. As part of this, one of the key aspects is its emphasis on connection - connection with self, with one another, with the trainer, Christina, and with Life/nature. This is because healing is so often relational and happens through our relationships with others. If we are to hold that quality of relational space for our clients, then it is also important to experience it ourselves and with one another. The intention is to provide you with the loving support you need for your own growth and also so that you can take this transformative healing work out into the world. In these times of uncertainty, breathwork can offer a way for people to regulate themselves and have more capacity for the intensity and challenges of life.

The first part of the training will be in-person which is important for fostering safety and connection, and to learn and practice the hands-on facilitation techniques. After this initial stage, our connection as a group will continue online for further theory, monthly group consultations during practicum and also for a 10-week inner process - A Journey into Presence - in conjunction with a daily breathwork practice. Finally, we will celebrate the completion of the training portion with a public in-person breath circle where students will invite people to breathe as they facilitate.

Your Guide & Mentor

You will be held by the experienced guidance of Christina Niven (RCC, RP, SEP, C-IAYT). Christina brings a wealth of lived and professional experience, bridging the worlds of breathwork facilitation, clinical counselling, Somatic Experiencing, and yoga therapy with years of dedicated practice on yogic and earth medicine paths. Christina has been facilitating breathwork since 2016 and also assisted her teacher as a facilitator in several retreats and trainings over multiple years.

Christina is committed to the safety of the container; therefore, each cohort is kept to a maximum of eight students. This intimacy allows for a slow, intentional unfolding of connection, learning, and cultivation of safety.

This is an inclusive space where 2SLGBTQIA+ and BIPOC folks are warmly welcome and encouraged to apply.
