Gentle yoga relieves stress, increases flexibility, calms the mind, and strengthens the body. It's performed at a slower pace, with less extreme positions. This class is designed with gentle floor-based sequences using bolsters, blankets, and props that support the practitioner to relax the muscles fully, integrating mind, body, spirit, and breath, bringing ease to the breath and tuning into the nervous system's healing capacity. Yoga is for every BODY-tall, small, big, tiny, young, old, and gender fluid. It truly is a way to move your body for every person on this planet. I want to create a space for all ages, abilities, and body types to move their bodies in a healthy and safe environment. The wonderful thing about changing careers later in life is that I CHOOSE to be here and help people find their peace and freedom from within.
