Join Smithsonian Gardens in the new Flight Garden at the National Air and Space Museum for hands-on activities and a story time exploring this month’s topic, birds! This month, we’ll be joined by our friends at the National Air and Space Museum.
Location
Find us in the Flight Garden on the west side of the National Air and Space Museum near the corner of Jefferson Drive, NW and 7th Street, NW.
Please note that this is an outdoor program and if you would like to enter the National Air and Space Museum during your visit, free timed-entry passes are required for all visitors, regardless of age.
About Garden Play
Garden Play is a drop-in program designed for children ages 2 and up and their caregivers. Activities are designed with early learners in mind, but children of all ages are welcome. Parents and guardians must remain with their children.
Please come prepared for an outdoor experience. Wildlife and insects, including bees and mosquitoes, are a part of our gardens. Participants are encouraged to bring water and sun protection.
Activities may be subject to cancellation or modification due to weather conditions. (A little rain won’t keep us away, but we will cancel in the case of a heavy downpour or thunderstorm!)
