About this Event
Join FYP ATX for a morning of community service as we prepare a fresh, home-cooked meal for families going through tough times. We will be cooking a classic Filipino dish—Chicken Adobo—for the residents at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas located in the Mueller neighborhood.
Volunteering together is the perfect way to give back, connect with fellow members, and make a real impact right here in Austin. Whether you joined us last time or this is your very first event, we would love to have you on the team!

- Shift Time: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM
- Arrival/Meetup Time: 9:15 AM (Please arrive early so we can complete check-in and start cooking on time!)
- Volunteer Limit: Strictly limited to 6 participants. Once spots fill up, a waitlist will open.
Accountability & Cancellation Policy:
Because this opportunity is strictly capped at 6 people, we must ensure all spots are utilized. If your plans change, update your RSVP at least 7 days before the event (by Saturday, September 19).
To respect the families we are serving, the facility, and fellow volunteers who want to attend, unexcused no-shows (excluding sudden day-of emergencies) will be restricted from participating in next FYP ATX limited volunteer events.
