Many of our neighbors are living in what’s called furniture poverty - without the basic items that turn a house into a home. Families in transition, especially those with children, are often starting over with little to nothing. This is a simple, tangible way we can come alongside them and help restore stability.
On Saturday, June 27, several churches, including Forum Christian Church, can pick up your donated furniture from your home and deliver it to the Love Seat Furniture Bank, a ministry of Love Columbia.

How You Can Be Involved:
Donate Furniture (pickup done on June 27):
We will come to your home to pick up larger furniture items. Examples of accepted furniture: mattresses sizes toddler up to queen (no rips, stains, tears, smoke free and pet free), box springs, metal folding bed frames, dressers, couches + love seats + lounge chairs/recliners (no rips, stains, tears, smoke and pet free), small bookshelves, end table/bedside tables, kitchen tables + dining chairs.
Donate Household Essentials (drop-off only):
Smaller items can be dropped off at Grace Bible Church or Prairie Grove Baptist Church. Examples of accepted household items: silverware (i.e. spoons, forks, butter knives etc.), cooking utensils (i.e. can opener, spatula etc.), pots/pans (with matching lids if applicable), dishware, baking sheets/pans, hot pads, small appliances (microwave, toaster, electric skillet, crock pots with lids, coffee maker) bedding/linens (sheet sets, blankets/comforters, pillows, bath towels, shower curtain).
Serve on a Pickup Team:
Join us on Saturday, June 27 as we go out into the community to collect donations. Volunteers will gather at 8:00am for a brief time of prayer, vision, and instructions before heading out in teams. Trucks and trailers are especially helpful—please bring one if you can. This is a great opportunity for anyone willing to help lift and load.
Together, we get to be part of meeting real needs and helping our neighbors rebuild their homes—and their hope.
