Full Moon Paddle on The Petaluma River (Sturgeon!)
This late-summer evening paddle is pure magic: we’ll launch just before sunset, glide downstream, and watch the moon rise over the river just after eight, framed by the wetlands that surround our tidal wateway! This is one of those moments that feels extra special from the water.
The Sturgeon Moon is named for the ancient fish that once thrived throughout North America and sustained Native communities as they prepared for winter. It marks the gentle turning of the seasons while reminding us to linger—summer isn’t over yet.
You’ll ride in deluxe Hobie pedal kayaks designed to keep you dry, comfortable, and relaxed, even as the night stretches a little late. This guided paddle is beginner-friendly and intentionally social—perfect for couples, friends, solo adventurers, and visitors looking to meet new people while doing something memorable and good for the soul.
