The Goddess Circle: Kali
Join us for this 3 hour workshop to ignite your inner goddess.
Honouring Kali, the Goddess of Liberation we will journey through guided womb yoga with Layla followed by embodied yin with Anna to prepare for the ceremony.
These practices will help you tune into the full moon energy, assisting any release that blocks us from unleashing the goddess within.
The Womb Yoga will be a combination of gentle asanas, a variety of dynamic meditation & breathwork techniques, all specifically tailored to suit womens bodies. Specific focus on connecting to the womb space and heart space.
Embodied Yin is a seasonal practice rooted in Chinese medicine, using breathwork, bolsters, and blankets to settle into mat-based postures, release emotional blockages, and connect with the body's deeper tissues and natural rhythms.
Layla has a 500 hour training multistyle with a heavy focus on a variety of different dynamic pranayama(breathwork) techniques which Layla loves to incorporate in her classes. Yoga has been a tool of deep transformation for Layla of helping to not only connect to her truest self but also her femininity. It is Laylas' mission to help others awaken to their power by providing a safe/comfortable space to do so & sharing the very techniques that have helped her the most.
Anna holds a 200-hour Sacred Alchemy YTT, focusing on working with the body and exploring personal journeys through yogic philosophy, meditation, and journaling. She also completed a 50-hour Embodied Yin training, integrating Chinese and Western medicine to facilitate deep emotional release. Her 50-hour Shamanic Tantric Yoga immersion emphasizes the power of ceremony and opened her to a more playful, embodied approach to teaching yoga.
