Full Moons are a time for cleansing & releasing the past, making room for all the goodness the future brings.

To tap into this frequency, this full moon circle will include the following:

~Conversation on Emotional Intelligence, the Emotional Body, and Emotional Release

~Grounding & Intention setting

~Pranayama (Yogic breathwork): to open pathways & prepare for meditation

~Sananga (Amazonian eye drops): cleanses physical & energetic impurities

~Hapé (Amazonian herbal snuff): used as a tool to help drop into meditation

About Sananga Plant Medicine:

Sananga, or Bechette, is a traditional Amazonian eye medicine. It’s been used by the indigenous peoples of Peru and Brazil for thousands of years. On an energetic level, it's known to help with fear, anger, depression, and psychosomatic conditions. On a physical level, it cleanses and refreshes the eyes and has been indicated in the treatment of glaucoma, cataracts, astigmatism, conjunctivitis, dry and red eyes, photophobia, keratoconus, eye infections, sinusitis, and chronic headaches. It can also be a great ally in the treatment of chronic pain.

When Sananga is applied to the eye, it can sting/burn for anywhere from 1-2min to 5-20min, depending on the strength of the drops and the person receiving.

Afterwards most people feel the eyes are cleansed and refreshed, along with feelings of calm, peace, and grounding.

Contraindications include if you're currently wearing contacts (they can be removed), or if you received lasik eye surgery within the past 6-8 weeks.

How to Prepare:

• Avoid eating at least 1 hour prior to event (the tobacco present in the hapé can often give feelings of nausea. This is lessened on a empty stomach)
• Come with an intention or prayer for the hapé meditation, & something you feel ready to release with this Full Moon
• If planning on participating in the Sananga eye drops, please avoid wearing contact lenses
• If you like, feel free to bring a personal item to add the to community altar
