Join us at The Quiver for our second 3D Archery Tournament! Archers will compete across two rounds of animal-shaped targets in a competitive but welcoming environment.
The tournament is open to archers of all experience levels, with divisions for different ages and equipment styles. Limited rental equipment will be available at no additional cost.
Please note: This is a USA Archery-sanctioned event. A valid USA Archery membership must be current on the day of the tournament.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This is not a walk-through course. All shooting will take place on The Quiver’s static outdoor target range, which offers shade, spectator seating, climate-controlled restrooms, and water fountains.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
20 3D targets
Two rounds of 20 targets
One arrow per target, per round
40 scored arrows total
Known distances measured in meters
Bring four arrows plus spares
The range is divided into five bays with four targets in each bay. Archers will shoot one arrow at each target in their assigned bay. Once everyone has finished, arrows will be retrieved and the group will rotate to the next bay. This will continue until every target has been shot twice.
DIVISIONS:
Divisions will follow World Archery rules. Electronic equipment is not permitted.
Compound: 60-pound limit with no speed limit
Barebow
Traditional
Longbow
Basic Compound
AGE CATEGORIES:
U18 Women and Men
Senior Women and Men
50+ Women and Men
DISTANCES:
All distances are known and measured in meters, not yards.
Compound: 5–45 meters
Barebow, Traditional and Longbow: 5–30 meters
Each lane will have a numbered quiver on the shooting line, with shooting positions on the right and left. Some lanes will have separate targets set at different distances for Compound and other divisions. Most lanes will use the same target for every division.
SCORING:
Each target includes four scoring zones:
11 points: Small circle in the center of the 10-ring
10 points: Larger circle within the vital area
8 points: Remaining vital area
5 points: Remaining body-color area
An arrow touching a dividing line receives the higher score. Hits to horns, hooves, or other designated non-scoring areas count as a miss unless the arrow also touches a scoring zone. An arrow passing through a non-scoring area but touching a scoring zone receives the score for the zone it touches. Tail and wing hits on bird targets do score.
REVIEW THE RULES:
Archers are responsible for reviewing the official World Archery division definitions and rules before registering:
