Work With Trailblazers on a Trail Refresh!
Come get your hands dirty and help Trailblazers put the finishing touches on a freshly refreshed section of trail!
We’ll be running the Seppi down Heading Home, and we need a small crew of volunteers to follow behind and help finish the new tread. This is a great opportunity to work alongside the Trailblazers crew, learn a little about trail building and maintenance, and help keep our trails in great shape.
What You’ll Be Doing
Volunteers will help:
- Rake and smooth the fresh new tread
- Water the trail
- Pack and compact the new surface
- Add the finishing touches that help create a durable, rideable trail
We’re looking for about 5 volunteers per shift so we can work efficiently alongside the Trailblazers crew.
Choose Your Shift
To make it easier for people to participate, we’ll offer two shifts:
🌅 Morning Shift
Come out for the morning and help us get the trail dialed in.
☀️ Afternoon Shift
Join us in the afternoon and help continue the finishing work.
You’re welcome to sign up for the shift that works best for you!
What We Provide
- Hand tools
- Water and drinks
- Trail-building guidance from the Trailblazers crew
- A chance to get outside and help take care of our trails!
What to Bring
- Sturdy shoes or boots
- Work gloves
- Water bottle
- Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
- Sun protection
No trail-building experience is necessary! We’ll show you what to do and work alongside you.
