Í þetta skiptið mun Benedikt Traustason kíkja í kaffi. Benedikt er líffræðingur hjá Reykjavíkurborg. Hann vinnur með líffræðileg fjölbreytni í borginni og kemur m.a. að vöktun á fjölbreyttu lífríki Reykjavíkur, hvernig við bregðumst við ágengum tegundum í borgarlandinu og reynum að skipuleggja uppbyggingu í sátt við umhverfið.

How about stopping by for a cup of coffee and connecting with the local community?
This fall, we‘ll regularly have free coffee in the Freeshop and invite good guests to drop in for a chat. Sometimes it‘s just a casual get together, other times inspirational presentations. Everyone is welcome and everything is free.
This time Benedikt Traustason will drop by for a cup. Benedikt is a biologist at the City of Reykjavík. He works with biodiversity in the city and is involved in, among other things, monitoring Reykjavík’s diverse ecosystem, how we respond to invasive species in the urban landscape, and efforts to plan development in harmony with the environment.
