WHO: Friends of P! Nick and Mikie Ramirez, The Ramirez Family CircusWHAT: A benefit to raise funds for special needs classrooms, caregivers, teachers, and other angel helpers.

HOW: Bands, friends, and family are getting together to put on a show to benefit the special needs community. We want to support this community in creative and artsy ways. Nick and Mikie have a daughter with Autism who attends a special education classroom in Reno. She has an excellent teacher and aids who assist in her classroom. We want to encourage donating funds to Washoe County (Strategies) classrooms, with no strings, no questions asked. This is to help teachers purchase whatever they feel is needed in the classrooms. The goal is to send $500 to 3+ classrooms, as well as collect and raise funds for quality self-care gift cards (hair-cuts, massages, mani-pedi, spa day) to give to caregivers, teachers, and other angel helpers. We want to say thank you and help prevent burnout! We are in this together and appreciate all who help our special kids!
HOW YOU CAN HELP: We are looking for RAFFLE donations of any kind. We are asking for self-care gift certificate ideas (hair-cuts, massages, mani-pedi, spa day). Do you know of a place that may donate? Can you tell us or ask them? We are putting together a team of friends who want to volunteer their time to ask for raffle and gift certificates. We would love to team up!
Do you know of a caregivers, teachers, or another helper that deserves a thank you? Please let us know, we are compiling a list of folks we want to gift these items to.
