Frick Park April Conservation Crew

Join your Frick Park Rangers for the Septembet Conservation Crew event and clean up Cowboy Hill!

When: 4/6/2026 5:30-7:00PM

Where: We will be meeting at the end of Tranquil Trail near the cemetary. The closest street address is 400 S Homewood Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15208. The actual event site is a 5 minute walk down Tranquil Trail to a tree planting site. Signage will be posted at the trailhead directing volunteers to the site.

What: We will be cleaning knotweed from along Tranquil Trail to make space for new trees later this Spring.

Rangers will provide gloves, tools, water, and sunscreen/bugspray. Closed-toe shoes are required and long pants are strongly recommended as we will be working off the trail in high brush! Children under 13 must be accomanied by a parent or guardian.
